Common questions before selecting a process

Answers are intentionally scoped for early RFQ planning. The final route is reviewed against the model and drawing package.

How should I choose between CNC, sheet metal, printing, and molding?
Start with geometry and use case. CNC suits tight interfaces and machined material properties. Sheet metal suits flat-pattern parts with bends. 3D printing suits fast design validation or geometry that is difficult to machine. Injection molding suits plastic parts that need molded behavior across repeat builds.
Are the listed specifications fixed production promises?
No. They are planning ranges for the prototype. Material, wall thickness, feature depth, part size, surface finish, and inspection needs can change the feasible range. Use the RFQ form to flag critical features and attach a 2D drawing for tolerance-controlled dimensions.
Can MakeNexa route one project across multiple processes?
